Teresa MaryJOYCETeresa died peacefully at Home on 5th September 2025, surrounded by her family and close friend.

A Loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend. Teresa will be hugely missed by all who knew her.

Resting at James Summers Funeralcare Penarth. A service to celebrate her life will take place on Friday 10th October 10.00am at Cardiff and Glamorgan Crematorium Port Road, Barry.

Family Flowers Only please. Donations in memory of Teresa may be sent to Marie Curie Hospice, Bridgeman Road Penarth, CF643YR.

My dear cousin, Teresa was also my good friend. Much of my childhood was centred around the Driscoll family and she was like a sister to me.
Teresa was one of a kind, strong, courageous, tenacious. She bore and overcame many adversities in life and was always positive and optimistic.
“Charitable”, is insufficient to describe her caring for her special-needs younger brother, Bernard. Total and all consuming love is more apt.
Despite being separated by an ocean, Teresa and I were close and we spoke together regularly. She never ceased to amaze me with her wealth of information and never-ending stories of days gone by. She had a wonderful sense of humour and I will miss these conversations.
She was one of a kind!

Such a kind, funny and very thoughtful aunty. Very grateful that we managed to spend an evening with her recently. Evan and Ryan loved her company, especially the stories she shared from the past, she was a gifted storyteller!
