Jane was a wonderful and caring house mistress at Stonar and had a lot of influence on my teenage years. She will be greatly missed.

Dear Jane, you leave behind a legacy of warmth, love and laughter,we will continue with "Geriatric Lock Down Group" and raise a drink to you. there is no more pain now, just a restful sleep. my outings with Ivan at Young Farmers remain a time of such fun, and those memories will forever stay.
Good Night Jane

Whenever i think of Jane I always think of the open garden day we had in Biddestone. It was a refined affair and as Charlie and I queued for tea and cake, the 2 Janes (the other being Symon's Mum, now sadly also gone) sloped off to find the champagne bar. I wouldn't say your Mum was a party animal, but she certainly knew how to have fun.
