Andrew PeterLEANPeacefully, surrounded by family and his cocker spaniel Soot, on Monday 2nd February 2026, aged 67 years. Andrew "Pete" Lean, of Newtonairds, Dumfries

Loving Husband to Angela, proud Dad of Angus, Naomi, Carmen and Stepson Nathan. Grandad to Ruaridh, Louis and Rowan. Younger Brother of Dan and Jane.

Pete served the farms of Dumfries as a vet for over 25 years at the Bard Veterinary Practice.

Pete was a lifelong adventurer with a love of wind, waves and snow. Locally, he could be found kayaking the Nith, windsurfing at Cardoness or hitting a ball around at Dumfries Sports Club.
