A one-of-a-kind great uncle who was always up for a laugh, never short of a joke, and never afraid to say exactly what he thought.
A determined and straightforward man who knew what he wanted in life.
He dedicated many years working for the council and took pride in everything he did.
Even in the end, he was surrounded by loved ones, still cracking jokes and bringing smiles to those around him.
He touched the lives of so many and will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
He never liked being the centre of attention and would have hated all this fuss — but he deserves every word.
