Jean IreneMEGGISONIt is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jean, who died peacefully following a short illness bravely borne on Saturday 26th July 2025, aged 77 years. Jean was the precious wife of Roger, cherished mum of Tina, mum in law to Drew, devoted nana to Charlie and Sadie, sister of Barrie and sister in law to Brenda.

A celebration of her life will be held at Trent Valley Crematorium, Aston on Trent on Friday 15th August 2025 at 3.30pm. All who knew Jean are warmly invited to attend. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired are invited for Cancer Research UK. These can be made online at www.georgesimnett.co.uk or may be given at the service.
