Pauline MavisMELLOR(née Kitching, formerly Couchman) Passed away suddenly but peacefully at home on 7th January 2026, aged 94 years. Formerly of Bradley, Milnsbridge, Netherton, and Aldbrough.
The dearly loved wife of Harry, beloved Mum, Stepmum, Mother in law, Grandma, Great Grandma, dear Sister and Aunt, and a friend to many. Known for being the life of the party, often enjoying a G&T or a glass of her favourite rosé, she will be greatly missed.
A celebration of Pauline's life will be held at Huddersfield Crematorium on Tuesday 10th February at 2pm, followed by a reception. In honour of her bright and sparkling spirit, the family warmly invites guests to wear something with a touch of sparkle.
The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the Caremark carers, the doctors and staff at Slaithwaite Health Centre, and Yorkshire Ambulance Service, all of whom looked after Pauline with such respect, kindness, and care.
Family flowers only, please. If wished, donations may be made in Pauline's name to the Yorkshire Ambulance Service or Alzheimer's Research.
