The obituary notice of Hywel MORGAN

Taught at Rhyl High School with Hywel for over 33 years. He was a genuine and loyal friend throughout and when retired we both enjoyed sharing stories of our teaching days together.
He will be greatly missed. Our thoughts are with his family.

When I arrived in Rhyl High School in 1991, Hywel was a rock for me in the stormy sea of secondary school teaching. He always championed teachers, ensuring that they felt valued.
He was a giant (literally and figuratively) amongst the staff.
Laterly, I was privileged to call him a friend, joining the "Curry club" with Keith and Wynne.

Mr Morgan taught me Physics over 55 to 50 years ago. He was a great teacher and encouraged all his pupils to achieve their best.
