GerardMURPHYOn 22nd May 2025, suddenly, aged 81 years, of Netherton.

The dearly loved husband of the late Irene Mary, devoted dad of Simon and Tracy and much loved grandad of Ryan, Reece and Jack.

Reception into St Patrick's Church, New North Road on Monday evening 30th June at 6.00pm for Requiem Mass on Tuesday 1st July at 12 noon. Followed by Interment at Rose Hill Natural Burial Ground, Birkby. Relatives and friends please accept this intimation and meet at the Church.

Family flowers only please by request to McNulty Funeral Home, 25 New North Parade, no later than 9.30am on day of funeral.

Donations in lieu if so desired to St Patrick's Restoration Fund c/o the Presbytery, New North Road. A donation box will be available at the Church.

I knew Gerry from football. He was always respecful and decent to opponents and teammates while as a local referee myself he was always respectful to match officials. He gave so much to local and regional football. Sincere condolences to his family.
