The obituary notice of Sylvia PERRY

I first time met Sylvia Perry in Newcastle BPW UK AGM & National Conference 2025 Tyne & Wear, I had privilege and honour to be close to her almost through out the conference, including closing dinner , which was wonderful and heartwarming experience that I will always remember.
Sometimes, we meet people in life who inspire us that we never forget, and such was Sylvia. Such an inspirational and incredible person, with her knowledge and insights, very strong and powerful woman that you would love to be with and learn more from.
Never would I imagine our last goodbye would be our meeting at the close of the last BPW conference.
My condolence to your family and all loved ones.
May your soul rest in perfect peace dear Sylvia, my thoughts will always be with you.

Sylvia a friend and mentor always ready to help, to the end her energy and commitment was astonishing. Your contribution to so many organisations and advice to friends and colleagues is your lasting legacy. RIP

Sylvia was a highly valued member of the Constution Reform Expert Panel during my terms BPWI Executive Secretary 2008 to 2011, due to her deep understanding of BPW and her firm grasp of governance. She and Pat Harrison were generous with their support and always encouraging.
Sylvia became a dear friend and we conferred through the years. I last spoke with her about constutional matters only days before she died. She was so on the ball, thinking clearly and strategically, it was a shock to lose her.
Dear friend, I enjoyed our discussions and appreciate our years of shared values and direction. We will all miss your wisdom and generosity, but we have great memories to fall back on. RIP Sylvia

Sylvia was indeed a great mentor and friend - someone who also brought out the mischief and fun in us all. Discovering New York and South Korea with her was amazing.
