DeanPURDONIt is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful but sudden and unexpected passing of Dean aged 55 years on Thursday 18th December 2025.
Caring son of Geoff and Ann, the best dad of Daniel and Luke, loving brother of Joanne, uncle of Matthew and Ellie, nephew, cousin and great friend to many who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
A service to celebrate the life of Dean will take place at St Mary's Church, Heneage Road, Grimsby on Wednesday 14th January 2026 at 10.30 followed by a private committal following the service.
Floral tributes will be greatly received but if you so wish donations in memory of Dean may be made to the RSPCA or give on the day of the service,

Shocked to hear about the passing of Dean

He was my mentor as an apprentice at SCM/MIC. He had a can-do attitude and certainly made my early years much more enjoyable and engaging.

Has hit me hard to find out about his passing. Far too young.

Knew Dino from my early days at SCM and into later years at MIC.
That laugh was so infectious.
So sad to hear and gone far to soon.
