Scotty, I’m still finding it hard to believe that this is really happening.
I will always be grateful to Clive for introducing us, many years ago now!
I’m sad I never got to visit you in Scotland, whilst my children are so young. Like Clive always says, I should make more time for me too.
I always expected you to be there and in the years to come, I’d have the free time to join you both on some adventures.
The truth of the matter is, life is unpredictable so i should have made the time now.
I will always be grateful that you were at the end of the phone, handing out your experience and advice when needed.
You were definitely a very cool and an adventurous man, who i admired very much. I just wish as a mental health first aider, that you had reached out to me.
I’m not sure if I could have made you feel better, but I would have given 100% to try and support you through your hour of need.
I will cherish the memories and our conversations.
Until we meet again, which we will!
Keep flying the flag for what is right and watch over us if you can!
Forever in my thoughts
Matt
