JeanSCOTTIt is with great sadness we announce that Jean, aged 87 years, passed away peacefully on Wednesday 7th of January 2026 whilst in the care of Diana Princess of Wales Hospital.

A much loved wife to the late George Scott. An amazing mum to Stuart, Robert, Michael, Richard, and Graeme. A dear mother-in-law to Paula, Julie, June, Nikki, and Gina. A dear step mum to Mel, and step mother-in-law to Liz. A caring nana to Lisa, Sarah, Amy, Jodie, Samantha, Isaac, Nathan, Savannah, Miya, Asa, Reid, Lily, and Jude. A caring step nana to Nathan and Marina. A great nana to Summer and Gallagher. Jean was a great friend to many, and will be missed by all who knew her.

A celebration of Jean's life will be held at Grimsby Crematorium on Friday 6th February at 12 noon.

Family flowers only please. However, donations in memory of Jean can be made to The Stroke Association, or a donation box will be available after the service on the day.
