JosieSMITHPassed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on 16th February 2026, aged 78 years.

Beloved Wife of the late Tank. Much loved Mam of Rachel, David, Kay and son in law Daniel. Much loved Nanny to Kayleigh, Rebecca, Jordan, Beth and Irfan. Dearly loved Great Nanny to Mya, Ellis, Archie, Alaiyah, Eli, Amirah, Isabelle and Ezra. Josie will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.

Service will be held at St Oswald's Church on Tuesday 24th March at 12 noon followed by burial at Coney Hill Cemetery at 1pm.

Donations for Dementia UK may be placed in the retiring collection. Flowers may be sent to Co-operative Funeralcare, 338 Barton Street, Gloucester GL1 4LE. Telephone 01452 522676.

Mam, when you took your final breath and went to meet Tank you knew you were surrounded by love and memories, we played all your favourite songs, we talked about your favourite holidays we told you that you was the best Mam and Nanny we could of ever asked for, we stayed with you until the sun rose and gave us a bright sunny day and leaving you was the hardest part, writing that it still doesn't feel real. Mam until we meet again I will never stop looking for signs I know you are watching over us, I love and miss you so much ❤️ Rachel the naughty one
