Dearest Freda, from the very beginning you welcomed me into the family with kindness and warmth, I will always be grateful for that.
I will miss our little chats they were never grand or complicated, just simple conversations connecting two people with care, humour, and genuine interest of many things. You always had a way of making me feel heard and valued, and those quiet moments together meant more to me than you probably ever realised. From the parenting advice to lipstick, shoes choices, we covered it all.
Most of all, I am thankful. Thankful for your kindness. Thankful for your warmth. Thankful I had the privilege of knowing you not just as my mother in law, but as someone who treated me with such grace and generosity of heart.
I shall miss you deeply especially on our trips back to the UK and will remember you fondly. Sorry I couldn’t be there to say goodbye, but you were in my thoughts. Rest peacefully, all my love Debbie xxx
