The obituary notice of Gary TAYLOR

Gary , we miss you more than we can explain. Our home is quieter and our hearts are broken. We will never forget you & are so grateful for everything , even the tiny small day to day things you did for us probably without even realising. Me and Joe really wouldn’t be half the people we are today without the guidance and support you have gave us throughout our lives. Thanks for loving mam the way you did , we are lucky you and mam chose each other & it really was a happy ever after.
Please watch over Evie for me and thank you for making such an impact on her in the short space of time you had together. You really were the best Grandad and I know how much our Evie meant to you, it was beautiful to watch you two create the bond yous did.
Save us a seat. We’ll have a lot to catch up on. Ride free, my best friend. Keep singing & keep being the loudest in every room. Thank you. ♥️

Heaven has gained an incredible Angel.

Gary Taylor… the person who made ordinary moments unforgettable! Lots of great memories with Claire, camping etc. when all of our kids were younger (Gary, you made sure our tents were hooked up to electricity)! Always prepared, it’s almost like you were once in the army!

I remember being in your garage with your tools all labelled in alphabetical or numeric order in their own immaculate boxes! Not to be touched by anyone but yourself! Bit of a Nerd Alert! I could do with a little bit of that myself.
You were such a character, there’s no one else like you! We knew you were in the pub before we’d see you. We’d hear your booming voice… (does Gary have a whisper switch? I’d ask Claire)! Unfortunately not she’d say.
You were either singing operatic tunes or something more current by The Killers etc. or you’d be doing handstands or maybe walking on your hands?
Amazing you could do all of that! Everyone was impressed, maybe not Claire, telling you to behave yourself but carrying on having so much fun/banter, just working your ticket.

Proud to have met and known you Gary, always friendly, funny and always had supportive words and advice for me. You’re going to be missed but always remembered by everyone who knew and loved you for your fantastic character and the best memories. You made my best friend an extremely happy lady for over 16 years.

Gary in the short period I have known you and the fleeting visits to the smoke shelter for a bit of squaddie banter I thank you mate, it was always a pleasure to be in your company. RIP wee man it isn't the same without you. My thoughts and condolences to all your family at this time.
