Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her partner and family, on 14th July 2025, aged 74 years.

Devoted soulmate to George. Dearly loved mam to Stephen and Christopher and mother-in-law to Angela and Trudi. Adored grandma to Louise, Dale, Becky and Elissa. Treasured great grandma to James and Amber. Much loved niece to Sheila and Billy. Linda will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Please meet for funeral service at Tynemouth Crematorium on 28th July 2025 at 1:30 pm.

Family flowers only please. Donations, if so desired, will be gratefully received for Macmillan Cancer Support and The Christie Charity. A donations box will be available at the crematorium.

Mam,
I can’t believe this time has come. 56 years with you by my side. Today will be the hardest day of my life, but I know you will be there to support me and the rest of the family.
You fought the hardest battle with your illness, but now you are free from pain . You have done a fantastic job in the care and love given to the whole family. I will always treasure the special memories I have of you.

Dear Linda,
A precious Mother-in-law of 24 years. I will treasure the memories I have of you. If you were the loveliest flower in my garden, I would pick you every time for me and Steve’s grandmother to Elissa - you were everything a Grandmother should be and more. There’s a star Elissa bought for you, it will be the brightest for us all to see. Keep shining lovely lady, until we meet again, Angela ❤️
