This wonderful teacher must be so many people’s security prompt - “ what was the name of your favourite teacher “ Luckily enough to have had him as my form teacher for J2 J3 and J4 in Clase 50 years ago. Truly an inspiration

In memory of a special gentleman. He made coming to work fun and a comfortable, safe place to learn and grow for both us as staff and the children of Brynmill School. I was very lucky to have known him!

Mr Uren was my head teacher at Brynmill Primary School. He was always very patient with me as I was often getting in trouble when I was little. He was also very encouraging of all my hobbies, and he pulled most of my wobbly baby teeth too. A great headteacher that really cared about his pupils. My condolences to his family and friends.

To Mr Uren, you will forever be the best headmaster - a truly kind soul.

You made our days at Brynmil so much more. I remember how you’d choose the good kids to run over to the corner shop to get you a bottle of skimmed milk - the “red cap” you’d remind us!

Bless you, my deepest condolences to your dear family.
