MariellaVELLAIt is with great sadness to announce the passing of Mariella Vella, aged 65 years, on Tuesday 20th January 2026 in the presence of her loving family at the Douglas Macmillan Hospice.
Fortified by the rites of the Holy Catholic Church, may she rest in peace.
Beloved Wife of Paul, adored Mum of Salvatore, Natalie, Lauren and Son-in-Law Tommy, devoted Nana of Marcus, Esmé, Harry, Brontë and Vinnie, loved Daughter of Irene and the late Emanuele, cherished Sister of Giulia, Linda and Giuseppe, Daughter-in-Law, Sister-in-Law, Zia and Cousin.
Mariella was dearly loved, and will be greatly missed but fondly remembered by all of her family and many friends.
A Requiem Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady and St Werburgh R.C. Church, Clayton on Thursday 12th February 2026 at 11:00am followed by a private interment.
