Passed away peacefully at Llangollen Fechan Care Home on Thursday, 5th February 2026, aged 87 years.

Beloved wife of the late Ronald, devoted mum of Shirley and mother-in law of Keith. Treasured and much loved nana of Suzanne and Stephanie and great-nana of Toby, Max and Lara. A dear sister of John and Stuart. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.

Funeral service and cremation at Flintshire Memorial Park on Wednesday, 25th February 2026 at 11:00 am.

Family flowers only please but donations may be given in Chris's memory to NEWCIS and the Mountain Bothies Association.

I never knew you but i know your daughter and we spent a few hours together looking at your amazing life journey in your photos. I see you in Shirley in all the things you did and she now does. As a mother myself its lovely to see that the memories u both shared will be able to be shared and passed on to others. You will be greatly missed im sure but what a beautiful legacy you have left behind for your family to carry on sharing in the outdoors which clearly brought you so much happiness. xxx

Sorry to hear this. Not heard from Chris for some years, but I knew her (and Ron) well back in the 1990s when they ran the MBA's Welsh Area.
