Kathleen 'Kate'WATTSWATTS Kathleen 'Kate' (nee Ellis) It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Kathleen ('Kate') Lucy Watts, nee Ellis, of Hibaldstow, Kathleen aged 79 years, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday 19th August 2026, after a long Illness she faced with great dignity and bravery, surrounded by the love of her family and her dear friend Joyce
Beloved wife of Derek for 50 years, devoted and adored mum to Lucy, much-loved mother in law to Neil, and cherished granny to Charlotte. A loyal and steadfast friend to David and Victoria
Now reunited with her treasured parents, Evelyn and Reuben, and her brother Clifford.
Kathleen proudly and faithfully served the community of Hibaldstow for many years, both as parish councillor and as a school governor.
Family and friends are invited to gather at St Hybald's Church, Hibaldstow on Wednesday 9th September at 12.00 for a service of Thanksgiving to celebrate Kathleen's Life.
