Alfred JohnWESTIt is with great sadness to announce that Alf, aged 80 years,
passed away at the Diana Princess of Wales Hospital
on the 27th December 2025.
Beloved husband to Janet for over 48 years,
much loved dad of Rachel and step dad of Kevin, Jayne, Ann and Christopher,
dear father in law of Iain, Kerry and the late Karen.
Cherished grandad and great grandad.
Alf was a good friend to many and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
A service to celebrate Alf's life shall be held at
Grimsby Crematorium on Wednesday 14th January 2026 at 3.45pm.
By request family flowers only,
however donations in Alf's memory can be made to Alzheimer's Society,
where they shall be gratefully received.
a donation box will also be available on the day.
