The obituary notice of Helen Sian WHIBLEY

I am so, so sad at the loss of Helen and , previously, Sion. I am sure that they are continuing their great love together, in the wide beyond. I have incredibly happy memories of sharing the stage with Helen in the Gilbert & Sullivan Society shows during my time as a student at UCNW Bangor. Her talent was immense and unique, and her character portrayal all-encompassing and formidable - and yet she was sweet and sharp and funny and smart and as splendid a person as one could ever hope to meet and to call “friend”. My love and condolences to all the family and friends who were fortunate enough to spend more time with her. Helen and Sion will remain in my heart and thoughts forever, and their memory will always be a joy and will always bring a smile to my face.

To Helen's family, I will never forget this inspiring teacher and human, who shaped me greatly as a young person, and whose voice I hear often when I work with Young People in Theatre myself today. Thanks Miss, for everything xxx

Helen was an absolute one-off. Much loved by the pupils and staff at Ysgol Uwchradd Caergybi. Our thoughts are with her loved ones.

It was an absolute pleasure to teach alongside you. To the children and young people of Holyhead, there was no one quite like you. Dance in the heavens! Claire Andrew xxxx
