Valerie ElizabethWIGGLESWORTHPassed away peacefully, with her family present at the age of 89 on Monday, 18th May 2026 following a short period of ill health. Born on 5th May 1937 and raised in Hedon, East Riding of Yorkshire, she was the daughter of Robert and Dora Robson. Valerie was preceded in death by her much loved husband, Michael and her parents and is survived by their loving family, sons John, and his wife Pamela of Singapore; Peter, and his wife Susan of Norwich; David, and his wife Laura of Leesburg, USA; Grandchildren Scott and Sophie of Norwich and Ryan of Seattle, Clare and Elena of Leesburg, USA. Valerie was preceded in death by her brother Donald Robson and his wife Gillian.
We will be holding a Celebration of Life for both Valerie and Mike at 11:00am on Thursday 4th June at the Hedon Methodist Church, prior to a private burial.
