David PeterABBOTTMarch 16th, 2015. Suddenly but peacefully with his wife by his side at Queenscourt Hospice, aged 29 years. Dearly loved husband of Rachael, much loved son of Peter and Elaine and best big brother of Chris. David will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. Funeral Service at Marshside Road Methodist Church on Friday March 27th at 1.00 p.m., followed by Committal at Southport Crematorium at 2.40 p.m. Family flowers only by request but donations are being received by the family for Queenscourt Hospice. So sad.


I had the pleasure of knowing David during his time in the 10th Southport Boys' Brigade at Marshside Road Methodist Church during the 1990s/early years of the 21st Century.
He was always immaculately dressed in his uniform, punctual and ready to join in with all the activities and he did so with a beaming smile on his face.
This image is the way I'll remember David, loving life and the joy it brought him. It was taken during a Messy/Silly games session on camp at the North West BB Headquarters in Kirkham.
My thoughts are with his family at this difficult time.
