AndrewABBOTTAndy passed away peacefully at Royal Blackburn Hospital surrounded by his loving family on August 14, aged 61 years.
Andy was born in Manchester and moved to Rossendale as a teenager. He had a passion for music and had wide ranging musical taste, from rock and metal to EDM. He spent 12 years as a guitarist with local band The Loop and had a short stint with NII, which he enjoyed immensely. Andy also had a love of kite flying, and would take his kites with him on family holidays. Andy was an avid supporter of Manchester United and loved football. He would watch any match that was on.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Alison, his children Matthew and Sophie, his sister Laura and the rest of his family and friends.
A funeral Service will be held at Fred Hamer Chapel of Rest, James Street, Rawtenstall on Thursday, September 5, at 12pm, followed by burial at Rawtenstall Cemetery.
