MargaretALEXANDERSuddenly but peacefully at Crosshouse Hospital on Monday 2nd February 2026, Margaret Smillie aged 77 years of Springfield Road Tarbolton, beloved wife of the late Hugh Alexander. A loving mother of Billy and the late Maureen. A cherished gran to Daniel and Sam. A dear and loving friend to many. Sadly Missed.

Funeral service to which all family friends and neighbours are respectfully invited will take place at Tarbolton Parish Church on Thursday 19th February 2026 at 10:15am thereafter to Coilsfield Cemetery arriving at 11:00am .

But we shared a school friend closeness
We sometimes laughed
We sometimes cried
At what life had thrown us
Margaret was a lovely girl
Selfless to the end
And though she’s gone to pastures new
I’m honoured to have been her friend
