I wish to thank everyone concerned for all the love and care shown to Mike during his long and courageously borne illness, for the many cards, flowers, visits, indeed, the many kind forms of communication sharing your wonderful thoughts and happy memories; to our extended family, the Bilhams and Holts, and to our neighbours for their continuing care and support, to the nurses for their gentle care during his long stay in hospital, and to the teams of carers and nurses for their help to look after him at home; the generous charity donations in lieu of flowers, and to all of the many people who were able to join us to say a last goodbye. Many thanks to Lili Redman for her excellent portrayal of Mike's celebration service, and the special caring and professional service of Price & Son, Funeral Directors of Grantham.
