Winifred EdithALLEN(nee Hunt) Passed peacefully away at home on 31st August 2008 aged 80 years. If tears could build a stairway and heartaches make a lane, we would walk right up to heaven and bring you back again. Beloved wife of Derek, Dear Mum of Richard and Christine, Sandra and Bill. Dearest Nana of Lisa, Craig, Lucy and Evie. Much loved Great Grandma of Mollie, Charlie, Ruby, Vince, Saskia and Tallulah. Sadly missed and always loved. Forever in our hearts. Winifred's funeral service will take place at Loughborough Crematorium on Tuesday 9th September at 11.00am. Family flowers only please, but donations can be made to Cancer Research UK. All enquiries to Swanns Funeral Service, 4 Bridge Street, Loughborough, LE11 1NQ.

I hope you’re smiling up there grandma! I hope you got chance to be with Nan again! Life was such a beautiful place when you and nan were around I wish it didn’t have to change, my dad has passed too now so it’s becoming a horrible place to be but we’ll keep on and be strong I hope you are all well up there! Another Year, Still Missed Just as Much as When You Left Us x


My Wonderful Nana...
Its now 2014, i cant believe it has been more than 5 years, since you were taken back to the angels.. it seems like it was just yesterday, when we would have been looking out thru mums conservatory window, with you saying "Sandra, have you deadheaded them flowers?" and you would have been telling Grandad Derek, to stop taking his false teeth out, to make the kids laugh. We all miss you so very much, and you are in our thoughts every single day.. We are all so blessed to have spent as much time with you, as we did, and have so many wonderful memories.
You remain in our Thoughts & Hearts, every single day.
