Life is but a stopping place,
A pause in what's to be,
A resting place along the road,
to sweet eternity.
We all have different journeys,
Different paths along the way,
We all were meant to learn some things,
but never meant to stay...
Our destination is a place,
Far greater than we know.
For some the journey's quicker,
For some the journey's slow.
And when the journey finally ends,
We'll claim a great reward,
And find an everlasting peace,
Together with the lord.

Dad was a true gentleman, he was strong but sensitive. He was straight and honest and always put his family first. I know, from personal experience, that he would always fight to make things right for his family. When times were bad he was there for me, when times were good he rejoiced with me. He was a very proud man and would get emotional due to the love he held for his family.
We all have to travel this road of life and I am privileged to have had a father of his superb calibre to guide me, I will always strive to make him proud, knowing he would expect nothing else.

God Bless.

Love you Dad
