Dorothy JoanALLENIn loving memory of our beloved Mum, Dorothy (Dode) Allen. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our cherished mum, who slipped away peacefully on January 9th, 2026, just 8 days after her 92nd birthday. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, aunt and friend, whose warmth, and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her. Her love for her family and her unwavering spirit will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

The funeral will be held on February 9th at 10:45 am at Newport Methodist Church, Barnstaple. Friends and family are invited to attend. A committal will follow at 12:15 pm at North Devon Crematorium. Many thanks to all the staff at Park Lane Care Home, Barnstaple who helped look after mum in her final months. Should you wish, donations in her memory may be made to Dogs Trust Ilfracombe reflecting her love of animals and lifelong commitment to helping others. www.dogstrust.org.uk/support-us/donation
