ANDERSONPeacefully at Crosshouse Hospital on the 18th December 2008, James Anderson. Beloved husband of the late Florence and a much loved dad to Jacqueline and devoted grandpa to Carole and Kirsty. Jimmy although born in Wick made his home here in Irvine where he became a well known local business man owning shops and a driving instructor school. A keen sportsman he played football for Accrington Stanley, swam for the Police Force, Bowled for Girdle Toll Bowling Club, was Captain of Bogside Golf Club, a keen ballroom dancer, a Carters and a Town Councillor.
