Ronald WilliamAPPERLEYAPPERLEY Ronald William. Passed away suddenly March 16, 2008, devoted husband of the late Hilda. Much loved by his family: father of Rosemarie; grandad of Cade and Heidi; brother of Barbara and Fred; brother-in-law of Gilla, and uncle of Moni. Ron was cremated at Yardley on April 7. Many thanks to friends, neighbours and relatives for the beautiful flowers and for the contributions, in lieu of flowers, in aid of dementia research. The following individuals, and their families, deserve special appreciation: Janet for her long years of friendship and care; Chris for being a most supportive neighbour; Sue for her particular attention in Ron's last month and for conducting a most focused and uplifting funeral service. Thanks also to Teresa and the MCS team for their professional service. Birmingham has lost a special son and a proud descendant of nine generations of Apperley stone masons. Ron was truly 'a simple man in a complicated world'.
