The obituary notice of Neil ARMSTRONG

So sad to hear this. I haven’t seen Neil for twenty years and was just thinking it was about time we caught up. On checking if he was still in Helpringham, I came across this tragic news.
Shared so many good times in our twenties and was nearly a part of his ‘as long as a pencil’ kayak journey.
Rest in peace Neil, sounds like you brought so much to so many people, you will be sadly missed 😢

I still can’t actually believe you’re gone Neil. It’s incomprehensible to me, and just so unfair. One of the kindest souls I’ve ever met. All our love to you, Aidan and all your family and friends

Phyllis from Medicine Hat, Canada will miss you so much. The time you spent with us in Canada and in the UK. Sharing your family and friends with us. Having a beer or two and telling small lies to each other. "Uncle Nellie" We shall have a toast and will remember you with photos and stories. May you rest in peace.

Barney from Medicine Hat, Canada and Neil Armstrong ran together, drank together, renovated houses, fixed roofs and topped trees. Afterward we spent our evening with beer and good food. Neil took me on a canal boat trip, horse and buggy ride and always had a car for me when I was in the UK.He circled the globe, paddled from Canada to Brazil in a canoe. I am so hurt from losing him and feel terrible for his remaining family. Barney will remember you Neil so fondly.
