Hi Mum. Here's a little update on the happenings so far this year...
Tom has found his lovely lifetime partner in Trish, and they have a gorgeous little baby named Jack. He was born early but is doing really well. He will be home sometime in October.
I am so proud to have a grandson and I know if you were here, you would be a proud great nan.
Life is moving on but we all still miss you and stepdad Len so much.
We never stop loving you both and we had the best times growing up.
We love you and treasure the memories. Keep watching over us and little Jack especially.

Just thought I'd visit Nan and wish you and Grandad are happy in the plane of heaven. I know you're looking down on me and would like me to keep going until the very end.

Another year without you Mum, it's Christmas time again.
It isn't any easier and I do feel pain.
You loved the festive season, you were generous through and through,
To your loving family who were generous back to you.
You always made it special with your vintage Christmas decs,
You made us laugh with baubles and putting tinsel round our necks.
One year you bought a pop up tree hilariously so thin,
We all took the micky said "chuck it in the bin!!"
But you kept it years you didn't seem to mind,
You spread so much of your cheer, and you were ever so very kind.
We miss you oh so very much the memories will stay,
As we eat our Christmas dinner on a melancholy day.
