JoanASHTONASHTON - JOAN. June 10, 2008, suddenly but peacefully at Southern House Nursing Home, Abergele, aged 82 years, of Towyn, Abergele. Devoted wife of the late Eric, much loved mother of Brian, Kath and the late David, fond mother-in-law of Rose and David and proud nan and great-nan to Joanne, Stephen, Sian, Richard, Kevin, Jacob, Sam, Scarlett and George. Joan will be sadly missed and always remembered with love and affection by all her family and friends. Funeral on Monday June 16. Service at Christ the King Catholic Church, Gors Road, Towyn at 10.30 a.m., followed by interment at Abergele Public Cemetery. Family flowers only, but donations if desired, gratefully accepted towards British Heart Foundation per R. W. Roberts & Son, Chapel Street, Abergele (827777).
