The obituary notice of Angela ASHTON (nee Holmes)

Angela was a beautiful soul who touched so many lives in the very best way. She was brave, kindhearted and bore her illness with such strength, courage and dignity.
I will always be eternally grateful for the friendship Angela and I shared for the years of laughter, wisdom and support. She made my life so much brighter, and I will carry her spirit with me always.
I have wonderful memories of Angela from the care free days of university over 48 years ago up until the present day.
How do you even begin to put into words how much Angela will be missed? From her enormous kind heart, thoughtful compassionate nature, wonderful dry sense of humour, and the plethora of amazing creative talents she possessed. She had a rare gift for making everyone around her feel seen, valued, and deeply loved. Angela made the world a brighter, kinder place just by being in it. She was indeed the brightest star.

Rest in peace, dear friend. Your light still shines in every memory.
