JohnASHURSTSuddenly on Thursday 6th October 2022 in Diana Princess of Wales Hospital, Grimsby, John passed away peacefully aged 80 years. Devoted husband of 59 years to Diana. Loving dad to Don and Michael, father in law to Bev. Treasured grandad to Gemma, Stacey, Ash, David, Caitlyn and Mikey. Proud great grandad to Kira, Harley and Reuben. John was also a wonderful brother and uncle and was very dear to his grandchildren's partners Danny, Steph, Jess and son Albert, a special person who will be greatly missed. A celebration of John's life will be held at Grimsby Crematorium on Wednesday 2nd November at 9.45am. No floral tributes please by request, however, donations to RNLI or Dementia UK may be sent to Steven Near Funeral Directors, 36 Wellowgate, Grimsby, DN32 0RA. John (Jack), will be sadly missed. A true gent and a very memorable boss, as I started my RAF career at Binbrook. Will always remember the books he constantly read. Rest in peace John!
