The obituary notice of Heather ASPINALL

I’m so sad to just hear of Heather’s passing. I known Heather for nearly 50yrs as she used to come every week to read me and my sister Noddy & Big Ears books and as the years past Heather and my mother kept in contact and then on my mother’s passing I would swap cards and letters with Heather every Christmas and throughout those 50yrs Heather would always send me a birthday card.


Heather was a very kind and thoughtful person and always had a big smile and loved to laugh. Although our friendship in adult life was restricted to correspondence she was an important link to my childhood and outside my own family the longest family friend we had.

I would like to pass on my sympathy to the family and I will miss our yearly catch ups. Sleep well Heather. Love Colin X
