RonaldBARCLAYRonald "Ron" Stirling Barclay passed away peacefully on 29 December 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and quiet strength that will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Ron was a devoted husband to his beloved wife Hilary, with whom he shared a lifetime of companionship, laughter, and unwavering support.
He was a cherished brother to Moira, a proud and caring uncle to his nieces and nephews Lizzie, Dave, Kate, and Sam, and a much-loved great-uncle to his great-nieces and great-nephews, who brought him immense joy.
Known for his warm heart and gentle presence, Ron had a way of making people feel welcome and valued.
He will be remembered for his generosity of spirit, his loyalty to family, and the quiet moments of kindness that meant so much to those around him.
His memory will live on in the stories shared, the love he gave, and the lives he touched.
The funeral service to celebrate Ron's life will take place at Memoria Crematorium, Barnby Dunn,
on 13th February at 1pm.
The family warmly welcome anyone who knew and loved Ron to attend and join them in remembering a life well lived.
Ron will be forever loved, deeply missed, and always remembered.
