LenBARRETTLen died at home, aged 91, on 15th December 2021. He was the husband of the late Sheila, father of Rod and Elizabeth, and a former teacher at Yarborough High School. The funeral will be held at Lincoln Crematorium on January 12th, 1:50 pm. Family flowers only please. Donations can be made to the Salvation Army or Dementia UK at the funeral or sent to Pat Cook Funeral Directors, 156-158 Burton Road, Lincoln LN1 3LS, telephone 01522 522881.

I really enjoyed the interesting chats I had with my Uncle Leonard over the recent few years - despite his advancing age, he was always sharp, knowledgeable and full of all sorts of jolly stories! He must have been a great teacher and housemaster and I'm sure that he was a positive influence on many children over the years. He will be sadly missed.
