SnowdenBARRYSuddenly at his home on 5th December 2018, Barry aged 69 years of Baxenden. Devoted husband of the late Sandra, much loved dad of Lee and Marie, dear father-in-law of Brent, cherished grandad of Emily, Max, Dylan and Ebony. Barry was an engineer at ROF and at Fortvale, a job which he excelled at and retired from at the age of 57 years. Barry thoroughly enjoyed his retirement and his new found freedom.Barry was a keen motor cyclist who loved to spend time tinkering in his garage, and he was also a member of the Phoenix Archery Club in Burnley. He loved to travel. Egypt was one of his favourite destinations and he recently just returned from Marrakesh. Barry was fond of the sunshine and partial to a glass of whiskey. The family request that jeans and t-shirts be worn at the funeral service and anyone wishing to wear one of Barry's T-shirts should contact Marie. Donations are being collected on behalf of Community Solutions North-West and Compassion UK. Please make cheques payable to Marie Eastwood.
