ElsieBATEMAN(née Watson) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Elsie Bateman.
Elsie was born 8th June 1932 in Port Clarence and peacefully passed away on 15th January 2024 in North Tees Hospital.
Beloved wife of the late Charles (Fred) Bateman. A much-loved mam of Charles, Ian, Ann and David. Mother-in-law to Bernadette, Jackie and John. Nan to Kevin, Teresa, Sarah, Matthew, Ian, Laura, and John, also step-nan to Dave, Andy and Natalie. Great-nan to 16 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service to be held on Monday 12th February 2024 at 10:45am at St. Luke's Church, Low Grange Avenue, Billingham, followed by a committal at Stockton Crematorium's Bluebell Chapel.
Family flowers only. Donations are welcome at the service to a charity close to Elsie's heart, the Great North Air Ambulance Service.
