Even though I lost touch with with Dave "Bayliss" as he was called back in 1980 when I moved to Devon, I really can't convey what a massive impact the guy had on my life...even my younger siblings and my own two daughters knew who he was...whilst he was always so humble, he was good at everything...well, everything that mattered in our formative years anyway. Looking back, at our little "gang" at Sir Thomas Jones School, Amlwch, I have to say, we were so lucky to have Dave there...normally leading front and centre...not from being over confident, but just for being so wonderfully cool..he really was! Anyway, you don't go forgotten Dave and thanks for all the fun we shared...and for showing me how to play the A chord in an easier way on tge guitar and for introducing me to Robinson's Keg Bitter when we were just 14 at The Breeze Hill Hotel in Benllech back in 1977 ...not sure how good that would taste these days mind..😖..anyway, would be wrong of me to let your passing go without letting all who may read this know what a wonderful friend you were, what a great time we had way back when, and how despite losing touch, I promise you were always remembered, and am just so very sad we never managed to meet up again. Rest in peace my good friend and thanks again for letting me part of the journey when we were what we were...Cheers "Bayliss"🍻❤️
