TerenceBECKETTIt is with great sadness that we announce that Terry passed away peacefully, after being fortified by rites of Holy Mother Church, while surrounded by his loving family, on 18th May 2019. Terry was 80 and, having lived a full life, had stoically suffered a long illness and kept his sense of humour until the end. Terry loved husband of Ann, dearly loved Dad of Nicola, Clare and Caroline, cherished fun grandad of Hannah, Trudy, Phoebe and Imogen, a dear father-in-law to Paul and Simon, much loved cousin, brother-in-law, uncle and great uncle. Terry will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his family and many friends. On Thursday 30th May, Terry will be received into the Roman Catholic Church of St. Thomas More, Mainway, Alkrington for Requiem Mass at 11am to then be reunited with Catherine and Sam, his late mother and father, at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Moston. By request, family flowers only please and donations preferred to Macmillan Cancer Care or Nazareth House, Prestwich.
