EricaBEECHING(Magical Grandma) nee Nalik David and the family would like to express their gratitude for the support of everyone who attended the celebration of Erica's life recently, both at the crematorium and village hall. Many of you commented on how much you enjoyed the occasion which was exactly in accordance with Erica's wishes. David would specifically like to thank the staff of Good Hope A.M.U. (Short Stay), together with doctors and district nurses at the Westgate Practice who tended Erica with such care in her last days. Special thanks are also due to Father Breen who ministered to Erica at her bedside and conducted the celebration. The family are very grateful to Mike and Jules Peters, Peter Jones and all at the M.P.O. Mike's personal dedication was a fitting tribute of which Erica would have been proud. A total of nearly 800 pounds was donated on the day for the benefit of Breast Friends, St. Giles Hospice and Cancer Research. Erica's love will live on through her family and she would be pleased that the money raised will go to others who may be unfortunate enough to tread this path in future. A very brave lady.
