Allan WeirBELLOn Friday, 19th February 2021 after a long and bravely fought battle with Motor Neurone Disease, Allan Weir Bell sadly passed away at home with Isabel holding his hand. Allan, husband of the late Jenny and devoted and loving partner of Isabel, brother, uncle and great uncle will be greatly missed. Funeral private. Funeral cortege leaving from his home at approx 9.05am on Thursday 4th March and then passing St. Nicholas Parish Church. Dr. Rae and all her colleagues at Kirkhall Surgery were truly amazing throughout his illness, and would like to thank them. I would also like to Thank Helen, M.N.D. Clinical Nurse Specialist and all the teams for their help. I very much appreciated the wonderful service Donna and the staff at Boots 1 gave us. Church family, friends and neighbours, who are too numerous to mention who supported us must also be thanked. Night, night darling. See you in the morning xx

Dear Uncle Allan, thinking of you today as always, and my dear Gran, who also passed away this day in 1998. I'm sure she was waiting for you that day.
Hope you are both together today, and also with dear Aunt Jenny. We lit a Lantern for you last night on the river in Hoi An, Vietnam. Seemed fitting, especially knowing how much you and dear Aunt Jenny loved you travel together. Miss you All ❤️

Thinking of you as always today, Uncle Allan. We are in Australia and went to Mount Gambier on dear Aunt Jenny’s birthday - seemed fitting. The only thing that brings us comfort is knowing you and dear Aunt Jenny, your one true love, are together again, and well and happy up there. All our love Karen and Graeme (and of course, Louise and Euan - you and Aunt Jenny would be so proud of them now!) xxxx
