MichelleBESSENTIn fond remembrance of a true public servant. Michelle Bessent of Llandybie worked at the heart of the Dyfed-Powys Police Communications Centre for over 40 years.
When she was not working, she volunteered her time with Brecon Mountain Rescue Team. Fiercely independent of spirit, she sought no acclaim, but quietly did her best to help people in their time of need; and anyone who ever knew Michelle will know that she loved her animals - so many down the years, but recently Odin especially.
Michelle passed away on June 17th 2026 after living with cancer for over seven years. She is much missed by her colleagues and friends across Wales, but most especially by her sisters Dominique and Ingrid, her father Malcolm and brothers-in-law Dan and Lyn.
Michelle has now met again with her late mother Janet.
