Margaret and I attended Gladstone Infants School at the same time during WW2. We often discussed how we’d run home during air raids! Much later we met up again as members of the Women’s League of Health and Beauty and later, when I became a teacher, she acted as my receptionist. We took part in many shows and demonstrations all over the country, particularly in the Royal Albert Hall. Margaret went on to train as a very successful Extend teacher. She was a lovely woman, lovely and full of fun. We will all miss her greatly.
