JB, some of my first memories were those in Grove Crescent. One that sticks out is when you went to work one day and I was at the house with Maz, you didn’t know I was there and I hid upstairs, you came rushing up the stairs to grab something and I jumped out with a video camera and nearly sent you head first back down them. We watched that clip so many times, I wish I still had it. Yours and Maz’s wedding, wow what a day, amazing, I loved that as a teenager. I use to come and see you when you worked at Rayners you use to show me the biggest TVs and turn them up ridiculously loud to show me how good they were! I remember you being a proper grafter with your two jobs, you use to speak so fondly of working at the club until the early hours before heading home and being up for work again the next day. There was a holiday you went on with Maz and you rented a Lexus, you were so proud of it and so chuffed to be treating my sister so well! Then came the home brew, I can remember waking into your house and into the middle room and I can only say that it resembled something out of breaking bad!! Tubes and huge containers with little funnels and the continuous drips of something going on. You explained everything to me and I still never got it, yet I listened with such interest because of how enthusiastic you were about it. When it came to drinking it, wow a bottle of John Birch’s wine and you could barely stand. The hangovers that followed, jeez, Legendary. You took me into your home when I most needed it, looked after me and always made sure I was okay. One time I remember when we had just been paid and for some reason you had gotten some extra money and you turned to me and said “Danny, this week we are going to live like kings, eat and drink like kings, none of this home brew rubbish” and you were true to your word, we ate steak and drank ‘posh’ red wine and beer. I will never forget it. There are so many more memories I could share, Everyone will miss you. Love Danny.
