Much loved Husband, Dad, Grandad, Brother, Uncle and a friend to many, who will be greatly missed.
John's wishes were for a private direct cremation with "no fuss". It is requested that those who knew John, keep both him and his family in their thoughts at this sad and difficult time and remember him with fondness.
Donations in John's memory will be sent to the PDSA, for his love of dogs.
Following the cremation, family will be arranging a celebration of Johns life, where everyone can raise a glass or two in his memory. Details will follow.
